A little bit about Invisalign®

Invisalign® clear aligners have the capacity to treat moderate to serious cases of misalignment and crowding in addition to structural issues. They are made from BPA-free plastic that is transparent, which means your teeth look as they normally would without a brace. Unlike fixed braces, the Invisalign® system does not incorporate brace hardware such as brackets and wires into its design.

What to expect from treatment with Invisalign®

We will invite you to attend an initial consultation to make sure you are a suitable patient for Invisalign®. Following this, we will take digital impressions of your teeth as these will be sent off to the Invisalign® lab, where your aligners can be made to suit the proportions of your smile. Once we receive these back at the practice, we can invite you in for a fitting and you can continue treatment from the comfort of your home, replacing the aligners every 2 weeks, and wearing them 22 hours each day. This 2-hour period each day gives you the flexibility to brush, floss and eat as normal.
